An exciting opportunity has become available for an Investment Governance professional to join a highly regarded financial services organisation. Working within a collaborative and client-facing investment team, you'll play a key role in the governance, due diligence and oversight of managed funds, managed accounts and investment managers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of investments, funds management and investment governance who enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders across the investment industry. Key Responsibilities: Conduct investment and operational due diligence on fund managers, investment advisers and managed funds. Lead onboarding activities for new investment products and portfolios. Prepare investment governance reports and recommendations for Investment Committee meetings. Undertake ongoing monitoring of investment managers and investment products. Attend and contribute to Investment Committee meetings and governance forums. Liaise with investment managers, platforms, advisers and internal stakeholders on governance and product matters. Review investment documentation including mandates, governance documents and disclosure material. Support the continuous improvement of investment governance frameworks, policies and processes. Work closely with product, operations and compliance teams to ensure successful implementation of investment decisions. About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: 4 years' experience within investment governance, investment due diligence, investment consulting or a related funds management environment. Strong understanding of investment markets, managed funds, asset allocation and portfolio construction. Experience conducting investment and/or operational due diligence. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare high-quality reports and recommendations. Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with investment managers, advisers and senior stakeholders. A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
